ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the land situated in Erode District, Modakurichi Taluk, Arachalur (A) Village, R.S.No.9/1B & 2B, Plot No.6 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.03.2024 and 14.03.2024.

2. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. Heard Mr.J.Titus Enock, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that she is a landless poor and she has given a representation to the respondents seeking patta in her favour for the land situated at Plot No.6, R.S.No.9/1B & 2B, Arachalur (A) Village in Erode District. The representation given by the petitioner Page No.2 of 4

indicated that as though she is residing in Tar Sheet house. But the records would show that the said house has been put up very recently just before filing this Writ Petition.

5. In such view of the matter, the petitioner can give a fresh representation to the first respondent seeking allotment of land under the category of landless poor within a period of one week from today and on receipt of such representation, the first respondent shall pass an order on its own merits, after making a thorough enquiry, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the representation from the petitioner.

6. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
