[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the 2nd respondent to produce the petitioner's wife A.Mogana, aged about 34 years and daughter A.Harini, aged about 7 years (minor child), before this Court and set them at liberty. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

It is the case of the petitioner that his wife A.Mogana, aged about 34 years and daughter A.Harini, aged about 7 years, went missing from 16.03.2021 and that the police were not taking effective steps to secure them.

On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Vedaranyam Police Station Crime No.158 of 2021 was registered on 23.03.2021 for 'woman and girl missing'. He further submitted that detenues were secured by the police on 22.06.2021 and they were handed over to the petitioner. 4.
The learned counsel for the petitioner also conceded the aspects and sought permission of this Court to withdraw this habeas corpus petition.
In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
