..Respondents Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to allot and give permission a place at New India Assurance Company Limited at No.6, Casa Major Road, Egmore, Chennai - 600 008 for the petitioner to run the Bunk shop and forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with the running of the petitioner's bunk shop based on the representation dated 09.05.2017.

Heard Mr.P.Srinivasan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3. 2.Though the petitioner has sought for a direction against the 1st respondent to consider his representation dated 09.05.2017 seeking license for running a bunk shop, the said issue is entrusted with the Vending Committee constituted in pursuant to the orders of this Court.

3.In such view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Vending Committee. As and when the petitioner makes an application to the Vending Committee, the same shall be considered and appropriate orders are expected to be passed within a period of eight weeks thereafter. No costs.
