This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 16.06.2016 and to file a final report within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that this petitioner has sent a complaint dated 16.06.2016 to the Additional Director General of Police, EOW-II, CCIW-CID.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions, submitted that the said complaint was enquired into by the Inspector of Police, EOW, Chennai and this petitioner has been advised to approach the Land Grabbing Cell, Kancheepuram. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh complaint in-person to the Inspector of Police, Land Grabbing Cell, Kancheepuram District along with this order and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into and action shall be taken in accordance with law, if it discloses commission of cognizable offence or otherwise the complaint may be closed.
