ORDER

This revision has been filed against the order in E.P.No.3 of 2023 in L.A.C.Nos.248, 249 & 250 of 2022 on the file of the Principal District Sessions Court at Thiruvallur and strike off the same.

2. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, the petitioner and the respondent are present before this Court and they would submit that the matter has been settled between them and that the respondent admits that he has received a total amount of Rs.9,00,000/-. Further, he would submit that they have filed a Joint Memorandum of Compromise before this Court and pray that the Civil Revision Petition may be disposed of in terms of the Joint Memorandum of Compromise. The Joint Memorandum of Compromise filed by the revision petitioners and the respondent reads as follows:- "JOINT MEMORANDUM OF COMPROMISE DATED 29.10.2024 It is most respectfully submitted that:

This Memorandum of Compromise entered between the petitioners and the respondent in respect of repayment of cheque amount bounced in cheques based on the 2/6

compromise arrived at before the National Lok Adalat on 13.06.2022, an amount of Rs.9,00,000/- was fixed and that the petitioners have so far paid Rs.2,00,000/- and the amount outstanding is Rs.7,00,000/- was default by the petitioners, which was agitated before execution court in E.P.No.3 of 2023 on the file of the Principal District Sessions Court at Tiruvallur and challenging the same the present revision petition filed by the petitioner before this Hon'ble Court. Further as per the directions of this Hon'ble Court order dated 03.09.2024, the petitioner has filed affidavit of undertaking to pay the outstanding amount of Rs.7 lakhs by way of installments and whereby the petitioner paid further remaining amount of Rs.7,00,000/- to the respondent through by way of bank transaction as full and final settlement claim to the respondent.

In the above circumstances, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to accept the present memorandum of compromise and dispose of the present revision petition and thus render justice."

3.In terms of the above Joint Memorandum of Compromise, this civil revision petition is disposed of and E.P.No.3 of 2023 in L.A.C.Nos.248, 249 & 250 of 2022 on the file of the Principal District Sessions Court at Thiruvallur, is struck off. The Joint Memo of Compromise filed by the petitioners and the respondent shall form part of the Court records. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
