ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to rectify the mistake and issue a fresh mark sheet for project work and consolidated mark sheet to the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Since no adverse order is to be passed as against the respondents herein in the present Writ Petition, notice to them is dispensed with and the matter is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that he joined the three years Diploma Course [2019-2022] in Catering and Hotel Administration in the third respondent college and completed the same in May 2022 including project work and received the course completion certificate as well as the transfer certificate from the third respondent and thereafter joined B.Sc in the same branch and completed it during November 2023. Subsequently, he got appointment in a reputed Hotel, where he has to submit his project work mark sheet work, for which he approached the third respondent, where he received a message that the
same is with the first respondent University and after a great struggle, he received the said mark sheet, however, the passing year in the said mark sheet was mentioned as April 2024 instead of May 2022, in order to rectify the same, he paid Rs.12,400/- to the third respondent as sought by them, however there was no action to rectify the same by the third respondent but instead they shifted the responsibility to the first respondent. The petitioner sent legal notice to the respondents and made a representation to the second respondent on 01.05.2025 & 17.07.2025 respectively, however no response and aggrieved over the same, the present Writ Petition has been filed.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.07.2025 and to pass appropriate orders within a reasonable time.
5. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.07.2025 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
