This Writ Petition is filed to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to provide police protection based on the Complaint dated 31.03.2024 made in C.S.R.No.139 of 2024 which is in respect of the properties comprised in Survey No.156/4 measuring to an extent of 0.13.92 hectare and Survey No. 212/1 measuring to an extent of 0.27.00 hectare situated at M.Kalipatti Village, Mettur Taluk, Salem District.
2. Based on the final decree dated 03.09.2022 made in I.A.No.597 of 2015 in O.S.No.149 of 2004 on the file of District Munsif Court, Mettur, the land surveyor has demarcated the portion of the land allotted to the petitioner herein and the petitioner is in possession of it and therefore, for fencing her property, representation given on 31.03.2024 and same is pending.
3. The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the 1st respondent submits that the police will consider the representation and adequate protection will be given for fencing the petitioner's property. 2/4
4. In view of the above said undertaking, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent herein to give adequate police protection while fencing the petitioner's property as per the final decree.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 03.06.2024 Index : Yes/No.
