This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, seeking a direction to the 5th respondent police to register a case on the basis of the petitioners' complaint dated 04.09.2015, which was assigned C.S.R.No.243 of 2015, and to take suitable action. 2.Heard, Mr.M.Balachandar, learned counsel for the petitioners and also Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who has taken notice on behalf of respondents 5 and 6.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioners have given a complaint to the 5th respondent police on 04.09.2015 and it was assigned C.S.R.No.243 of 2015 and pursuant to which, no action is taken till date, this Court is inclined to direct the 5th respondent police to complete the enquiry, after affording opportunity to both parties, within a period of four weeks from the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

date of receipt of a copy of this order and if the 5th respondent police, as a result of the enquiry, arrives at the conclusion that a cognizable offence is disclosed, he shall register the case and investigate into the same and proceed further in the manner required under law, at the earliest.

4.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
