J.Jesiah Villavarayar ..Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the impugned communication dated 05.04.2022 issued by the 2nd respondent bearing RC No.627/RSM-CHN/JNS-2021 to the 2nd petitioner and quash the same as illegal and arbitrary consequentially direct the 2nd respondent to charge only association tariff from the 2nd petitioner for renting 1. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, 2. Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium and 3. Nehru Park football ground for conducting league matches.

Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the writ petition as the schedule of the Football tournament had already come to an end on 31.05.2022. However, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks liberty to file a fresh writ petition, in case, need arises in future for conduct of the tournament by the petitioners with regard to the tariff. Learned counsel for the petitioners has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court bundle.

2. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, however, liberty is granted to the petitioners to seek for the relief stated supra, in case, need arises in the near future. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
