This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 2319 days in filing the above appeal against the judgment and decree passed in S.C.No.181 of 2015 on the file of the II Additional District Sessions Judge, Erode, dated 05.10.2016 pending disposal of the above appeal.

2. This Court is convinced with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of the petition. Since the delay has been satisfactorily explained, the delay is condoned and this petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the above Criminal Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same in usual course.
