Item 48 W.P.No.10635 of 2020 N.Anand Venkatesh, J., The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the 2nd and 3rd respondents submitted that some extension of time is required for the purpose of completion of enquiry. 2.This Court had specifically directed the respondents to complete the proceedings within a period of eight weeks after taking into consideration the fact that the surcharge proceedings pertains to the year 2004. Therefore, this Court is not in a position to understand as to why the proceedings are repeatedly getting extended without a closure. 3.The matter is finally adjourned by four weeks. In the meantime, the earlier orders passed by this Court on 14.08.2020 is directed to be complied with, failing which, the respondents are directed to be present before this Court through video conference.

4.Post this case after four weeks.
