RAMALINGAM [ PETITIONER ] Vs THE INSPECTOR OF POLICE [ RESPONDENT ] VIGILANCE AND ANTI CORRUPTION, VELLORE Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to relax the condition the Petitioner shall report before the Trial Court on the first working day of every English Calendar month at 10.30 a.m. imposed by this Honourable Court on 1.11.2018 in Criminal MP No.13231 of 2018 in Criminal Appeal No.601 of 2018.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.N.SAMUNDEESWARI Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.K.PRABAKAR Additional public prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.13231 of 2018 in Crl.A.No.601 of 2018 dated 01.11.2018 directing the petitioner to appear before the trial Court on the first working day of every English Calendar month at 10.30 a.m., until further orders.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been regularly appearing before the trial Court.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner has been complying with the condition regularly.
4. Taking into consideration of the submissions made by the counsel on either side, the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.13231 of 2018 in Crl.A.No.601 of 2018 dated 01.11.2018 is modified in the following manner.
"The petitioner shall appear before the trial Court once in three months, on the first working day of the concerned English Calender month at 10.30 am, commencing from July 2019, until further orders."
