Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to include the petitioner's name in the Tahsildar Panel for the year 2005 at Serial No.6A below one Thiru Dhandapani (Serial No.6) and above the junior Thiru S.Natarajan (Serial No.7) vide 3rd respondent proceedings Roc.30953/2005-A2 dated 09.03.2006 and to include the petitioner's name in the Deputy Collector Panel from the year 2008-2009 at Serial No.53 A below Tmt N.Geetha (Serial No.53) and above junior Thiru A.M.Sankaran (Serial No.54) vide G.O.Ms.No.115, Revenue (Ser 1) Department dated 03.04.2009, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2016 for providing the notional promotion benefits to the posts of Deputy Tahsildar, Tahsildar, Deputy Collector and to revise pension and refixation of pay and confer all the consequential benefits. name in the Tahsildar Panel for the year 2005 at Serial No.6A below one Thiru Dhandapani (Serial No.6) and above the junior Thiru S.Natarajan (Serial No.7) vide 3rd respondent proceedings Roc.30953/2005-A2 dated 09.03.2006 and to include the petitioner's name in the Deputy Collector Panel from the year 2008-2009 at Serial No.53 A below Tmt N.Geetha (Serial No.53) and above junior Thiru A.M.Sankaran (Serial No.54) vide G.O.Ms.No.115, Revenue (Ser 1) Department dated 03.04.2009, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 06.04.2016 and for other consequential reliefs.

Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

Though a larger prayer has been made in this Writ Petition, now the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 06.04.2016 may be ordered to be considered. 4.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the matter and also considering the request now made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. No costs.
