..Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from putting up TASMAC shop for Commercial Retail Vending attached with bar more particularly in the land belongs to Shri C.P.Duraisamy, S/o.Pongu Gounder at Sundakkamuthur, Puttuvikki Main Road, West of Perur Tank, near Old Poultry Farm, Perur Taluk, Coimbatore District or in any other objectionable place in the vicinity.

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
The petitioner has filed the present writ petition with an apprehension that the TASMAC shop is going to be opened in the land of one Shri C.P.Duraisamy, S/o.Pongu Gounder. Mr.K.Venkataramani, learned Additional Advocate General assisted by Mr.M.John Kennedy, learned Standing counsel accepting notice for the respondents 1 to 3, has produced the letter of the Deputy Tahsildar, Flying Squad, who is also incharge of the post of the District Manager, TASMAC, Coimbatore South Taluk, dated 15.06.2017 in Na.Ka.No.1054/2017/Mu;tp , wherein it has been stated that there is no proposal to locate the TASMAC shop in the above said land and therefore, the apprehension expressed by the petitioner is wholly unfounded. In the light of the above said letter, this Court is of the view that the apprehension expressed by the petitioner, as on today, is unfounded and hence, no further orders are necessary. Therefore, the writ petition is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
