ORDER
The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 191(2), 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023 and Sections 3(1(r), 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(v)(a) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes ( Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 , in Crime No.96 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since no offence under Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes ( Prevention of Atrocities) Act attracts, the present application is maintainable.
3. However, while looking into the averments in the FIR, there is allegation ithat attracts Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes ( Prevention of Atrocities) Act, therefore, this Court finds that the present application is not maintainable.
4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 27.03.2026 sma 2/4
