PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying directing the respondents to forthwith conduct the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent and to file a final report before the competent Criminal Court within a stipulated period. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for directing the respondents to forthwith conduct the investigation in Crime No.1 of 2023 on the file of the 2nd respondent and to file a final report before the competent Criminal Court within a stipulated period.

2.When the matter is taken up, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.1 of 2023 , no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police has registered the FIR in Crime No.1 of 2023 , in which, investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4.Recording the same, the respondent Police is directed to file the final report before the concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due 2/4

intimation to the defacto complainant.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
