.. Respondent Petition filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to appoint a fit and proper person as Sole Arbitrator in accordance with the Supply Contract Agreement and the Project Development Agreement, both dated 17.08.2012 between parties.

O R D E R

Learned counsel for parties jointly state that keeping in mind the agreement inter se the parties and the arbitration clause, an Arbitrator be appointed to adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties.

2.Thus, as proposed and agreed, I appoint Mrs.Justice Chitra Venkataraman, a retired Judge of this Court, as the Sole Arbitrator, to enter upon reference and adjudicate the disputes inter se the parties. As agreed by the learned counsel for the parties, the arbitration proceedings will be conducted under the ageis of the Madras High Court Arbitration Centre and the parties will be governed by the Rules of the Centre.

3.The original petition is, accordingly, allowed, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
