Respondent Petition filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, to appoint an Arbitrator on behalf of the respondent to resolve the dispute in terms of the contract for civil construction dated 22.03.2010 entered into between the petitioner and respondent.

O R D E R
Learned counsel for parties jointly state that the issues arising between the petitioner and other contractors, which are similar in nature, have been referred to the Arbitral Tribunal consisting of
three Arbitrators, viz., Mr.S.Parthasarathy, Senior Advocate, the Presiding Arbitrator and Mr.R.Yashod Varadhan and Mr.Vasantha Kumar Visweswaran, the Members. It is prayed that the present disputes arising from the arbitration clause in question be also referred accordingly to the same Arbitral Tribunal.
2.In view of the joint request, the disputes are referred to the Arbitral Tribunal as aforesaid and the Tribunal, after issuing notice to the parties and upon hearing them, pass an award as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of the order. The remuneration and other incidental expenses shall be borne by the parties equally.
3.Original Petition is accordingly disposed of, leaving the parties to bear their own costs.
