Order (Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) Writ of Mandamus has been instituted seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to process the claim for reimbursement forwarded by the 1st respondent in Letter No.561/2022 dated 30.1.2023 seeking for reimbursement of Rs.3,07,779/- incurred by the petitioner for the treatment of his wife Tmt.Amsaveni, under the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2021, for the Government Servants of Tamilnadu, within a reasonable time.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 3rd respondent/United India Insurance Company would fairly made a submission that the application received from the petitioner will be processed and eligible medical reimbursement as per the Rules will be settled within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the said submission, the 3rd respondent is directed to settle the eligible medical reimbursement to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
