ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking

payment towards 60 days of earned leave surrendered by the petitioner, while he was in service.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. The respondents may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine whether any amount is due and payable to the petitioner and if so, pay the said amount together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of disbursal. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
