Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to grant permission to the petitioner for the erection of the bunk shop at Royapettah, Chennai by considering the representation dated 25.06.2015.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to grant permission to the petitioner for the erection of the bunk shop at Royapettah, Chennai, by considering the representation dated 25.06.2015.

2. No doubt, the petitioner is a physically disabled person afflicted with speech and hearing disability. In this regard, the petitioner has also filed a Disability Certificate in Form-IV certifying that she is 100% disability. However, in the considered view of this Court, the request sought for in her representation that to consider her case for allotment of bunk shop at Royapettah, Chennai is not feasible since the said place is known for all time traffic congestion. Hence, this Court is of the view that no direction could be issued to the respondents to consider the said representation of the petitioner. However, it is open to the petitioner to approach the competent authority to redress her grievance.

3. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
