ORDER

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking IRT contributions payable to the petitioner and interest for the belated payments towards PF and earned leave/medical leave salary.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the respondents.

3. The respondents may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine whether any amount is due and payable to the petitioner and if so, pay the said amount together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of disbursal. The respondents may also examine whether any amount had been paid with delay and if so, pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the said amount from the date of retirement till the date of disbursal. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. 03.04.2025 nl
