Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent no.1 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.05.2021 and grant 30 days ordinary leave to the petitioner's husband S.Senthilkumar, son of Selvaraj, aged 47 years, Convict Prisoner No.14681, now confined in the Central Prison, Cuddalore.

O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2021 and grant 30 days ordinary leave to her husband viz. S.Senthilkumar, (Convict No.14681), now confined in the Central Prison, Cuddalore.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side], on instructions, submitted that, the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2021, that was given on behalf of the convict prisoner was considered by the authorities and the same has been rejected, by order dated 31.05.2021, a copy of which has been served on the petitioner as well to the convict prisoner in prison. However, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that he will serve a copy on the learned counsel for the petitioner also.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is closed, with a liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
