Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.21,735/- towards arrears of difference in pension for the period from 01.05.2022 to Jan 2023; to pay the petitioner a sum of Rs.90,769/- towards difference in earned leave and medical leave salary; a sum of Rs.18,500/- towards the amount payable under the Post Recruitment Benefit Fund Scheme; a sum of Rs.4,500/- towards the IRT Contributions; to pay the petitioner the amount payable under the family benefit fund scheme; together with interest at the rate of 12% per annum and to pay the petitioner interest at the rate of 12% per annum for the belated payment of Rs.10,68,577/- towards PF and for the
belated payment of Rs.50,711/- towards earned leave/medical leave salary, within a specified time frame.

ORDER
The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking arrears of difference in pension, difference in earned leave and medical leave salary, IRT contributions and interest for the belated payments towards PF and earned leave/medical leave salary.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the respondents.
3. The respondents may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine whether any amount is due and payable to the petitioner and if so, pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of disbursal. The respondents may also examine whether any amount had been paid with delay and if so, pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum for the said amount from the date of retirement till the date of disbursal. The entire exercise
must be completed within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
