O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to modify the condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum Rs.50,000/- with two sureties out of which one shall be a blood /relative surety and another shall be a local surety in the order passed in Crl.O.P.No.2654 of 2020 dated 12.02.2020.

2. The counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted bail on 12.02.2020 with a condition that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum Rs.50,000/-

with two sureties out of which one shall be a blood /relative surety and another shall be a local surety. Due to Covid-19 pandemic situation, the relatives of the petitioner are unable to travel all the way from Vizag of Andhrapradesh. However, he would submit that the petitioner is prepared to produce two local sureties. Hence, he seeks for modification of the condition imposed.

3. In view of the above submissions, the condition imposed as against the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.2654 of 2020 dated 12.02.2020 is modified and the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum Rs.50,000/- with two local sureties to the satisfaction of the Special Court For E.C. Act Cases, Salem.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is ordered.
