ORDER

This criminal revision case has been filed against the order dated 23.09.2022 passed in Crl.MP.No.9819 of 2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate-IV, Thiruppur, thereby dismissed the petition filed for seeking direction under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C.

2.

According to the petitioner/complainant, due to previous enmity, one, Ragupathy sent a message to the petitioner's phone in the form of threatening.

3.

Heard, the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused, all the materials placed before this Court.

4.

On perusal of the complaint lodged by the petitioner, it is revealed that the proposed accused phoned him and threatened over phone. However, this Court is of the view that the contents of the allegations would not amount to any threatening with dire consequences. That apart, any threatening made over phone cannot attract any offence under section 506(i) of IPC. Therefore, the trial court rightly dismissed the petition filed by the revision petitioner and this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the impugned order. As such, this

criminal revision case is liable to be dismissed. 5.

Accordingly, this criminal revision case is dismissed. 16.06.2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non speaking order lok G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN. J,
