ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the proceedings in C.C.No.8655 of 2012 pending before the learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Saidapet, Chennai. 2.The petitioner has approached this Court after a lapse of seven years. The Domestic Violence Act initiated as against the petitioner and other two respondents in the year 2012. Thereafter, the accused have filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.29166 of 2013 dated 02.07.2018 to quash the complaint and the same was allowed as against the petitioner's brother and sister. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court to quash the proceedings.

3.As the quash petition has been filed by the petitioner after a lapse of seven years, this Court is not inclined to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.8655 of 2012 pending on the file of the XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai., as the same is devoid of merits.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition stands dismissed. The learned XVIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court at Saidapet is hereby directed to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
