ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Cr.No.440 of 2012 and file final report, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police.

3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry in Cr.NO.440 of 2012 and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)] and either file a final report or closure report as the case may be, as expeditiously as possible, with due intimation to the petitioner.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
