2. The petitioner claims to be the member of Madurai Rifle Club and on 19.11.2012, applied for new Fire Arm license to the 2nd respondent for the purpose of participating in the sports and also for his personal safety. It was rejected by the Superintendent of Police, Sivagangai District vide order dated 30.09.2013 and challenging the legality of the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the 1st respondent on 24.01.2014 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. This Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner in this writ petition, permits the petitioner to submit one more representation to the 1st respondent for the early disposal of his appeal dated 24.01.2014, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 1st respondent on receipt of the same, is directed to consider the representation, in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of six weeks, thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner
