This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 12.01.2023 and to direct the respondent to consider the seniority of police officers with regards to Promotion for the post of Grade I of Police in Consonance with the settled principle of law as well as the
principles of natural justice.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 12.01.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
