Respondents PRAYER:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass orders on the proposal sent by the second respondent in his Letter No.A.N1(1)/ 61768/2011 dated 15.02.2012 for revision of scale of pay of Sergeant from Rs.4800-10000 + GP Rs.1650 to Rs.5200-20200 + GP Rs.1800/- within reasonable time.

O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 19.10.2011 based on the proposal submitted by the first respondent to the second respondent on 15.02.2012. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that in respect of pay anomaly, the writ petitioner made a representation and the same was forwarded along with the proposal submitted to the second respondent by the first respondent. However, no final decision has been taken in this regard.

3.Thus, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 19.10.2011 and pass orders https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of the representation along with the order passed by this Court in this Writ Petition.

4.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there is no order as to costs.
