The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.225 of 2016, pending on the file of the third respondent to the second respondent to ensure fair investigation.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the second respondent is the appropriate authority to investigate the case pending in Crime No.225 of 2016.

The above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded and the investigation in Crime No.225 of 2016 pending on the file of the third respondent is directed to transfer the same to the file of the second respondent, who shall conduct investigation and file a report, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
