Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to allocate the funds allotted by the Government of Tamil Nadu for the purpose of implementation of Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam (AGAMT) launched by the Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O.(Ms) No.115, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department dated 11.09.2006 in the Polambakkam Panchayat, Chithamur Block, Cheyyar Taluk, Kancheepuram District comprising of three villages namely Polambakkam, Kurumbirai and Nelvai in equal proportion subject to the concerned village necessities.

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner, in a public interest litigation makes a prayer for direction to the respondents to allocate the funds allotted by the Government of Tamil Nadu for the purpose of implementation of Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam (AGAMT) launched by the Government of Tamil Nadu vide G.O.(Ms) No.115, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj Department dated 11.09.2006 in the Polambakkam Panchayat, Chithamur Block, Cheyyar Taluk, Kancheepuram District comprising of three villages namely Polambakkam, Kurumbirai and Nelvai in equal proportion, subject to the concerned village necessities.

2. The learned Government Pleader states that the scheme is still in force. The petitioner has already made a representation on 26.4.2010 to the second respondent.

3. We, thus, call upon the second respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 26.4.2010 taking into consideration the averments made in the writ petition as well as the facts which have transpired thereafter, by a speaking order, within one month of the receipt of this order.
