Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay petitioner enhanced compensation amount as awarded by the Honourable High Court Madras Divisional Bench i.e., Rs.25,952/- per cent. 1. The District Collector Kancheepuram, 2. The Member Secretary CMDA, 3. The Special Thasildhar Land Acquisition, are hereby requested to pay petitioner the difference amount of Rs.25,952/- (Less) Rs.21,237/- = 1/5

Rs.5,175/- per cent with interest on solatium is to be given for my acquired land of 67 cents. The petitioner is also entitled to receive the difference amount of Rs.5,715/- per cent for my acquired land in the light of degree and judgment 14.07.2022 passed by Honourable High Court Madras Divisional bench in A.S.No.386 of 2018 batch cases with all other benefits as per Land Acquisition Act.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to pay the enhanced compensation to the petitioner on par with others, who are having the benefit of the order dated 18.02.2025 passed in W.P.No.4701 of 2025 on the file of this Court.

2. The petitioner had given a representation for the aforesaid purpose to the respondents on 07.01.2026. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition. 2/5

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent Nos.1 and 3 and Mr.B.Sanjay Balachandar, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of second respondent.

4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation, dated 07.01.2026 seeking for enhancement of compensation on par with others, who are having the benefit of the order, dated 18.02.2025 passed in W.P.No.4701 of 2025 after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and the orders passed by this Court in the Writ Petitions and the Writ Appeal within a period of twelve (12) weeks from 3/5

the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
