This petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 30.07.2015, which was assigned C.S.R.No.355 of 2015.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though, the complaint given by her was assigned C.S.R.No.355 of 2015, thereafter, no further action was taken.

3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who has taken notice for the respondent, would submit that since the matter relates to the family dispute, the complaint given by the petitioner has been forwarded to the Social Welfare Officer concerned for obtaining opinion as to whether a case can be registered or not and based on the report of the Social Welfare Officer concerned the respondent police may proceed further, in accordance with law.

5. Since, the matter relates to the family dispute, as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

rightly pointed out by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the complaint given by the petitioner has been rightly forwarded to the Social Welfare Officer concerned for obtaining opinion as to whether a case can be registered or not and based on the report of the Social Welfare Officer concerned, the respondent police shall proceed further in the manner required under law.
