ORDER
(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1-A), 4 (1) (aaa) of TNP Act, in Crime No.560 of 2020, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that on 18.07.2020 the petitioner was in possession of 110 litters of illicit arrack suspected to be poisonous and the same has been recovered from the accused persons. At that time he escaped from the scene of occurrence.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner was found in possession of 110 litres of ID arrack. He would further submit that the petitioner has two previous cases in respect of Cr.No.593 of 2020 wherein the petitioner was in possession of 110 liters of illicit arrack and in Cr.No.609 of 2020 the petitioner was in possession of 70 litres of rectified spirit. He further submitted that the petitioner is a habitual offender. Hence he vehemently opposes for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 5.Taking into consideration of the fact that the there are two previous cases against the petitioner in respect of Cr.Nos.59. Of 2020 & 609 of 2020 and he is in possession of 110 litres of illicit arrack, this Court is not inclined to grant Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner.
