Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records relating to the detention order in D.O.No.50/2020-C2 dated 16.06.2020 passed by the 2nd respondent under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and set aside the same and direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's son Jagan S/o.Periyasamy, aged about 29 years, the detenu, now confined in Central Prison, Vellore, before this Court and set the petitioner's son Jagan S/o.Periyasamy, aged about 29 years, the detenu herein at liberty.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in D.O.No.50/2020-C2 dated 16.06.2020, detaining her son as "Goonda" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3279, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XI) Department, dated 07.08.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
