This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner on 21.05.2020 claiming relief under Section 5 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

2.Heard Mr.K.Govi Ganesan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the first respondent. 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to take up the application submitted by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner on 21.05.2020 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent shall issue notice to the second and third respondents before conducting the enquiry and passing final orders. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with a copy of the application dated 21.05.2020 and also a copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
