ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. No representation for the petitioner. This Court, perused the records and heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and passed orders.

3. The petitioner is an accused in J.J.Nagar P.S.Crime No.13 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 448, 323, 427 & 506(ii) IPC and also in Crime No.444 of 2016 for the offences under Section 354, 506(i) IPC, and Section 4 of the Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act, 2002. In Crime No.13 of 2016, the de facto complainant is one M.Soundarajan, who is the father of Subasri; and in Crime No.444 of 2016, the de facto complainant is one Subasri, who is the wife of the petitioner.

4. According to the petitioner, he was arrested in both the cases and has been released on bail. Now, the petitioner fears that fresh cases will be filed against him and his family members by the Police.

5. In the considered opinion of this Court, if a person continues to commit offences, he can be prosecuted. On anticipated apprehension, the prayer for not to harass cannot be granted. Hence, this petition is closed.
