Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue appointment order to the petitioner for any appropriate vacancy in Chennai falling within the ambit of Group IV exam conducted by the respondents by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2015.

Heard both sides. By consent the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner would contend that she studied X Standard. Thereafter, she underwent foundation course in Annamalai University. According to the petitioner, the foundation course underwent in Annamalai University is equivalent to +2 as per G.O.Ms.No.219 Personal And Administrative Reforms (Personnel R) Department dated 30.03.1988.
3.The petitioner appeared for Group IV Examination. According to the petitioner, she was successful and she was called for certificate verification on 11.04.2014. According to the petitioner, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
based on the foundation course, she was not considered for appointment though certificate verification was over. 4.At the time of hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2015.
5.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's non-selection is not due to the foundation course, but may be on other grounds such as age bar etc. 6.In any event, in view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing anything on merits, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
