By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claims that he is the owner of a land admeasuring to an extent of 1.09 acres in S.F.No.24/9, Pichanur, Coimbatore Taluk and District, and submitted an application dated 8.4.2015, to the respondents praying for measurement of the same, and also paid the necessary fee and since no progress took place on the application submitted by him, he sent a representation dated 1.6.2015, by registered post with acknowledgement due, and though it was acknowledged, no action has been taken so far and hence, he came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.P.Valliappan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 30.4.2015, as well as the reminder dated 1.6.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned and pass orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
