ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to transfer

the patta / TSLR No.9154 in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition from the name of the petitioner's father, based on the Hiba (Gift) and the confirmation deed dated 09.03.2021 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. Mr. S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. At the outset, he would submit that the petitioner will have to file an application, seeking for transfer of patta through online with the respondents and only thereafter, the petitioner's application will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh online application with the second respondent.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner is allowed to submit a fresh online application, seeking to transfer the patta / TSLR No.9154 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition in his favour and a direction is issued to the second respondent to considered the said application on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2026.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh online application, seeking to transfer the patta / TSLR No.9154 for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition from the name of the petitioner's father in favour of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online application within the stipulated time, the second respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's online application within a period of twelve weeks thereafter after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner.
