(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The above petitions are filed by the petitioner/appellant seeking to accept the cause title and to take on record the power of attorney executed by the petitioner in favour of one V.S.Gopalkrishnan.

2. Heard Mr.P.Giridharan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/ appellant, who submitted that since the petitioner is presently residing in the United Arab Emirates, he executed a power of attorney dated 03.09.2018 in favour of V.S.Gopalkrishnan, to initiate/defend civil and criminal cases and other legal proceedings on behalf of him. Hence, the cause title needs to be modified and the power of attorney dated 03.09.2018 executed by the appellant has to be taken on record.

3. Satisfied with the aforesaid submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, these petitions are ordered as prayed for. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the case papers and post the appeal "for admission" on 30.04.2024.
