ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2) r/w under Sections 3(1)(s), 3(2)(va) of the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Attrocities) Act, in Crime No.173 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, due to a family property dispute, the petitioner along with other accused quarreled with the defacto complainant and allegedly intimidated her to part with property. It is alleged that the petitioner acted in furtherance of common intention. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that prima facie materials are available in the FIR and that upon, completion of investigation, a final report has been filed and the Special Court has taken cognizance of the same.

4. In view of the statutory bar under Section 18 of the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, this Court is of the firm view that the present application is not maintainable.
