O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file the Final Report in Crime No.163 of 2014 on the file of the respondent.

2. The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one S.Palanisamy, Chocklingam, Sakuntala, Kannan and Arumugam for alleged offences under Sections 147, 448, 427, 323, 420 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. Though the complaint is filed as early as in the year 2013, till date, no final report has been filed. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the matter is being enquired into by registering FIR and referred charge sheet has been filed. Thereafter, the learned https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Magistrate No.4, Salem directed the respondent to conduct further investigation. Now, the matter is under investigation and charge sheet would be filed within a short span of time.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.163 of 2014 pending on his file and file charge sheet as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
