Order This writ petition has been filed seeking for an early disposal of the petitioner's appeal dated 01.12.2025 filed under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act pending on the file of the second respondent. 2.Ms.C.Meera Arumugam, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. Since no adverse order is being passed against the third respondent, notice to the third respondent is dispensed with by this Court.

3.The petitioner is a Senior citizen. She seeks for an early disposal of her appeal dated 01.12.2025 filed under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act against the third respondent, which is pending on the file of the second respondent.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the official respondents if a direction is issued to the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 01.12.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the third respondent and by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's appeal.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's appeal dated 01.12.2025 filed under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act against the third respondent, after hearing the objections of the third respondent and by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
