ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.303 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same.
On the complaint lodged by one Anandakumar, the second respondent herein, the first respondent police registered a case in Crime No.303/2016 on 11.05.2016 under Sections 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(I) IPC against the petitioners herein, challenging https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
which, the petitioners are before this Court on the ground that they have arrived at a compromise.
Today, the parties are present before this Court and they are identified by Mr. A. Prabakaran, Sub Inspector of Police, Gudiyatham Town Police Station, who is also present before this Court.
Anandakumar has filed an undertaking affidavit dated 12.07.2016, wherein, it has been stated as follows: "4 I further submit that in this regard a case was registered under Sections 294(b), 323, 324, and 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.303/2016 dated 11.05.2016 on the file of the first respondent police. Now the fact remain is that both myself and the 1st petitioner are the residence and native of Gudiyatham Town and further both my family members and the 1st petitioner are family friends that was came to know by me through my family members in a belated manner.
I further submit that hence, to put a quietest to the issue and settle the matter in an amicable manner and not to develop any crack in the family friend relationship existing in between both side family members. It was accepted by both the parties to settle the issue in an amicable manner. Hence, I am filing this undertaking affidavit before this Hon'ble Court."
In view of the above, the case in Crime No.303 of 2016 is quashed and this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. Connected Crl. M.P. is closed.
