ORDER

Since no adverse order is passed against the respondent, notice to the respondent is dispensed with and the matter is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the Labour Court Salem to hear the claim petition, namely C.P. No.130 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible and dispose of the same.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner that the petitioner along with other workers represented by the Union filed claim petitions in CP.Nos.129 & 130 of 2012 for enforcing the awards passed in the year 2008 and the same is pending from the year 2012, hence, seeks for early disposal of the claim petition

by way of this writ petition.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court may issue direction to dispose of the claim petition within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court since the claim petition is pending for more than 14 years.

5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials placed on record.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the Labour Court, Salem to dispose of the Claim Petition in CP.No.130 of 2012 pending on its file within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
