O R D E R

The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the second respondent S.R.O. to accept the sale deed presented by the writ petitioner for registration and accordingly, register the same.

2. The petitioner presented sale deed for registration on 28.03.2023. However, the said document was not processed. Thus, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

The learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents, based on the written instructions given by the Sub Registrar dated 27.04.2023, made a submission that the petitioner presented the sale deed for registration but it was not presented for processing the registration. Thus, the document was kept pending. 2/4

This being the fact established, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the Sub Registrar for completing the process of registration and the Sub Registrar shall verify the documents and if the document presented is otherwise in accordance with the provisions of the Registration Act, the process of registration shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
