Mr.S.Arumugam Govt.Advocate Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to issue sub divided patta in favour of the petitioner for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. 2.According to the petitioner, a larger extent of land was owned by the petitioner and he had sold a portion of the same to a third party, retaining the balance extent of lands. The petitioner seeks for issuance of sub division patta in

his name for the balance extent of lands. The petitioner had submitted a representation on 19.11.2025 to the respondent for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. At the outset, he would submit that the petitioner will have to submit an online application to enable the respondent to consider the petitioner's request for grant of sub divided patta. 4.Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is willing to submit a fresh online application with the respondent for issuance of sub divided patta.

5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent if the petitioner's application seeking for sub divided patta for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.

7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the petitioner to submit a fresh online application with the respondent seeking for issuance of sub divided patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the balance lands retained by him, along with the supporting documents, within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online application, the respondent shall pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the said application seeking for issuance of sub divided patta in the name of the petitioner, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of 12 weeks thereafter.
